How to Conduct a Detailed Brand Audit for your Clothing Brand

Ever wondered how you can maximize your Brand Equity?

Building brand equity allows the brand to stand out amongst the crowd, charge a premium on their products, and retain customers for the longer term.

It is a crucial step in scaling and growing an ecommerce brand.

But the term 'Brand Equity' is usually convoluted. How exactly is it measured and how exactly does a brand go to maximize it?

START BY IDENTIFYING YOUR AUDIT ELEMENTS

Elements can include everything from logos, websites, and ads to company positioning, brand voice, and unique selling proposition.

Once outlined,

Ask yourself these three questions:

1) Does each element share your overall brand's features, values, and benefits?

2) Does each element have a similar visual feel to the other elements?

3) Is the messaging in each element consistent with the other elements?

CONSISTENCY IS THE NAME OF THE BRAND GAME

And if the answer is 'No' to any of these questions,

Ask yourself how you can alter certain elements to better fit your overall brand identity.

Congruent brands with consistent brand elements increase their equity and enjoy an increase in customer loyalty, higher margins, and greater financial returns.
